Welder (MIG/MAG, TIG) – Freelance

About the job

Looking for freelance contracts as a welder near Hengelo and eastern Netherlands? Clients in industry, machine building, steel construction and technical installation need experienced ZZP (ZZP = self-employed / freelance) welders for various projects, both short-term and long-term.

What you'll do

• Carry out welding work according to technical documentation and drawings
• Assemble and weld structures and components
• Work with different welding methods: MIG/MAG, TIG and stick welding
• Check welds for quality and dimensions
• Work independently on assembly and fitting tasks
• Help find technical solutions on site

What we ask

• Proven experience as a welder
• Valid welding certificates or demonstrated practical skills
• Valid VCA certificate (VCA = Dutch safety certificate required for working on industrial sites)
• Registered as self-employed (ZZP, own company registered with KvK, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce)
• Own tools and personal protective equipment
• Category B driving licence and own transport
• Ability to work independently from technical drawings
• Flexible about project location and duration
