About the job

As a trainee refrigeration and air conditioning installer, you get the chance to build your technical skills on the job. You work on modern systems at locations like schools, hospitals and offices. Experienced installers guide you and teach you the trade. You take part in building lasting solutions in climate technology. It is a good starting point for a career in a growing technical sector.

What you'll do

• Prepare and install parts and components of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Support maintenance work on installations.
• Test and start up systems to check that they work correctly.
• Learn to find and fix faults and technical problems, under supervision of an experienced installer.
• Work together with experienced installers and keep the work environment safe.

What we ask

• Willingness to take part in a BBL (block release) apprenticeship programme. BBL means you work at the company most of the time and attend school one day a week.
• A hands-on attitude and motivation to learn.
• Category B driving licence.
• Thinking and working level of at least MBO 2 (Dutch vocational secondary education, roughly equivalent to a Polish vocational secondary school).
• Interest in refrigeration and air conditioning technology.

What we offer

• Salary from €2,600 to €3,000 gross per month.
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
• Full time: 36 to 40 hours per week.
