You work on 1 or at most 2 projects at a time, all in the local area, and you are responsible for everything from the first spade in the ground to the last tile.

What you'll do

  • Lead projects in new build and renovation, mainly residential buildings of 3 to 4 floors, sometimes schools or care facilities
  • Monitor planning, progress and quality
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors

  • Independent, practical and action-oriented
  • Technical knowledge and a solid understanding of construction basics

Note: if you want this role but are not yet ready to work fully independently as a construction manager, the opdrachtgever (client company) offers an internal development programme. You start as assistant construction manager alongside an experienced manager and gradually take on full responsibility.

What we offer

  • Salary from €3,750 to €4,750 gross per month for a starting construction manager, and from €4,750 to €5,750 gross per month for an experienced construction manager
  • Company car
  • Projects in the local area, travel to site is usually no more than 30 minutes
  • 25 days of annual leave plus 15 ADV days (ADV is a Dutch scheme for reducing working hours, similar to extra paid time off)
  • 8% vakantiegeld (vakantiegeld is a Dutch statutory holiday allowance, paid on top of your salary, usually once a year)
  • Other conditions in line with the cao bouw & infra (cao is a Dutch collective labour agreement that sets minimum pay and working conditions for a sector)
  • Work at a financially stable company that invests in its people
  • A lot of freedom, flexibility and responsibility
  • A close-knit, experienced team of around 50 people
