Trailer Mechanic

About the job

As a trailer mechanic you work in Zwolle in a technical role with a wide variety of tasks. You are responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and technical condition of different semi-trailers and trailers. Experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and grow in vehicle technology counts too.

What you'll do

• Carry out maintenance work on semi-trailers and trailers
• Repair and replace various trailer parts
• Assemble, build, and modify trailers
• Work on axles, brake systems, and lighting
• Identify and fix technical faults
• Carry out mechanical and technical work
• Inspect and test trailers after a service or repair
• Make sure work is done neatly, safely, and to a good standard

What we ask

• A technical approach to work and willingness to do physical work
• Experience as a trailer mechanic, commercial vehicle mechanic, or car mechanic is a plus
• Technical education or comparable work experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Accuracy and attention to quality
• Willingness to learn new techniques and tasks
• A proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset
