Building Services Installer (apprenticeship)

About the job

As an apprentice building services installer, you work on real projects from day one. You learn the trade from experienced colleagues. You work on a variety of installations and get to know all aspects of building services engineering.

What you'll do

• Take part in renovation, modernisation and sustainability projects
• Help with replacing and maintaining mechanical installations
• Work on eco-friendly solutions, such as removing gas heating from buildings
• Install and maintain pipework, boilers and technical systems
• Spot and fix minor technical faults and leaks
• Assist with testing and commissioning installations
• Work alongside experienced installers and technical specialists
• Take on more responsibility as your knowledge and skills grow

What we ask

• You are enrolled in, or about to start, a BBL (work-based learning, an apprenticeship route within Dutch MBO vocational education) programme at MBO 3 or MBO 4 level in building services engineering
• Interest in building services engineering and technical installations
• A practical, hands-on attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Interest in sustainable techniques and green projects
• Good communication skills
• A team-oriented mindset

No previous experience needed. Motivation to learn the trade is what matters most.

• Salary from €2,500 to €2,600 gross per month
• Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position
• Full-time 40 hours per week, part-time hours open to discussion
• Up to 38 days off per year on a full-time contract
