Maintenance and breakdown technician – foam production – day shift

About the job

You work at the heart of a modern production environment. You respond when something breaks down, and you make sure the problem does not come back. Corrective and preventive maintenance go hand in hand here.

What you'll do

• You diagnose and fix mechanical and electrotechnical breakdowns for good
• You analyse PLC (programmable logic controller) systems, find faults and improve processes
• You carry out inspections, overhauls and modifications on complex installations
• You take part in technical improvements that affect safety, performance and durability
• You take part in on-call standby duty (consignatie) and respond in critical situations
• You work on both machines and control cabinets, from quick repairs to long-term optimisation

What we ask

• A completed technical education at MBO (Dutch vocational college) level 3 or 4, for example electrical engineering, mechatronics or industrial automation
• Experience diagnosing breakdowns in a production or process environment
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, knowledge of Siemens S7 / TIA Portal is a plus
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to take part in on-call standby duty

What we offer

• Gross salary from €3,700 to €4,400 per month based on 40 hours per week
• Performance bonus
• Travel allowance: €0.23 per kilometre
