Technical Systems Installer

About the job

As a technical systems installer, you work on different sites across the Netherlands. You install cable trays and cable management systems. Every project is different. You work on new buildings and on renovations of existing ones.

What you'll do

• Survey: you assess the situation on site, discuss the scope of work with the client, and together you agree on the best way to carry out the job
• Installation: you install cable tray systems and cable management systems based on technical drawings and the project schedule
• Teamwork: you work as a fixed pair with a junior installer and you support each other during the work
• Coordination: you stay in contact with the project manager about progress, technical questions, and any changes on site
• Travel: you work on projects all over the Netherlands, sometimes one day at a site, sometimes several months
• Client focus: you take the daily operations of the building's users into account and make sure the work is done carefully and professionally

What we ask

• At least MBO-level education (MBO is Dutch vocational secondary education)
• Proven experience in electrical work or relevant technical qualifications
• VCA I certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for construction and technical work), minimum level
• Category B driving licence
• Willingness to travel to different project sites across the Netherlands
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Eager to learn, flexible, and attentive to quality and client relations

What we offer

• Salary: €2,600 to €2,700 gross per month
• Contract: fixed-term with the prospect of permanent employment
• Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week, full time
• Company car for work use
• 25 days of annual leave plus 13 ATV days (ATV days are extra paid days off agreed under Dutch labour arrangements)
