Blending/Packing Operator

About the job

As a Blending/Packing Operator you will join a production team in Maastricht. You will work with experienced colleagues to make quality products for the food industry.

What you'll do

• Mix products following recipes and instructions
• Monitor quality at every step of production
• Follow health, safety and hygiene rules
• Operate machines and fix minor faults
• Do simple calculations to measure ingredient quantities
• Wear personal protective equipment, including a dust and odour mask and protective clothing
• Do physical work that involves standing for long periods and lifting

What we ask

• Experience in a production environment is a plus, for example in blending or similar work
• Physical fitness: able to stand for long periods and lift
• Accuracy and ability to follow step-by-step instructions closely
• Experience operating machines or fixing minor faults is a plus
• Communicative level of English, spoken and understood
• Able to do simple calculations to measure quantities correctly
• No medical objection to wearing a mask for long periods
• Willing to follow strict hygiene and safety rules and wear protective clothing

What we offer

• Hourly rate: €14.99 gross per hour (for ages 18 and over)
• Gross pay, excluding vakantiegeld (holiday pay, 10.5%) and irregular hours allowance
• Weekly pay
• Good chance of a permanent contract with the opdrachtgever (the client company you work for)
• Fixed working week of 40 hours, with overtime possible
