Production Operator

About the job

You work as an operator in production. You keep the machines running and make sure products move through the process the right way. You work a two-shift schedule, so your hours rotate every week.

What you'll do

• Keep machines running and refill them when needed
• Check that products move through the process correctly
• Spot faults and machine failures and try to fix them yourself
• Change machine settings or parts when switching to a different product
• Monitor machines continuously and act when something goes wrong
• Clean the machines and your workstation at the end of your shift so the next shift can start clean

What we offer

• Salary between €2,600 and €3,100 gross per month, depending on experience, plus a shift allowance, based on a 40-hour week
• Travel reimbursement: €0.23 per kilometre
• 25 vacation days per year and vakantiegeld (a mandatory holiday allowance of 8.33% of your annual salary)
• Full-time position
• A contract for a longer period that converts into a permanent contract directly with the opdrachtgever (the client company) after a set time
• Option to use a company car for commuting
• Work clothing provided by the opdrachtgever or by the uitzendbureau (staffing agency)
• Opportunity to earn certificates, including VCA (a Dutch health and safety certificate)
• Pay every week or every 4 weeks
• A dedicated contact at the agency who handles all the paperwork for you
