Packing Operative

About the job

As a packing operative in a food production environment, you make sure thousands of loaves of bread are packed correctly and sent to customers every day. You check quality, quantities and labels, operate the production line, and keep the workplace clean and safe.

What you'll do

• Carry out quality checks on the bread, packaging and best-before dates
• Record production data and complete paperwork
• Take packed products off the line and place them in crates
• Operate the production line
• Respond to deviations and faults in the production process
• Rotate tasks regularly with a colleague at the line
• Keep the workplace clean and safe

What we ask

• At least 1 year of experience as a packing operative
• Available to work shifts (09:00-17:00 and 17:00-00:00/01:00) and at weekends
• Good command of Dutch or English
• Accurate and quality-conscious
• Able to follow procedures
• Comfortable working in a food production environment

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary of €2,634 (base, excluding supplements), based on an average of 38 hours per week
• Shift supplements on top of the base salary
• Higher salary possible with proven additional experience
