Groundworker

About the job

The client in Montfoort specialises in groundwork and civil engineering. You work in a small, close team on various cable and pipeline projects. No two days are the same.

What you'll do

• Laying, maintaining and replacing cables and pipelines
• Carrying out various groundwork tasks
• Detecting and fixing faults, including street lighting
• Supporting colleagues on different projects
• Keeping the worksite safe and tidy
• Working hours are usually 07:00 to 16:00
• Occasional emergency standby for unexpected faults

What we ask

• Motivated and willing to work
• Valid VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for construction and technical work)
• Category B driving licence, category BE is a plus
• Comfortable working outside and doing physical work
• Flexible and available for occasional emergency standby

What we offer

• Salary from €18.50 to €22.00 gross per hour, depending on age, experience and CAO (CAO is a Dutch collective labour agreement that sets pay and conditions)
• Fixed hours, usually 07:00 to 16:00
• Opportunities to grow, including gaining extra certificates
• Chance of a permanent contract based on good performance
• Full time, 40 hours per week
