About the job
As a site manager for new residential construction in Utrecht, you are responsible for the project from start to completion. You manage a site with 48 houses, 20 apartments and a multigenerational building. Every day you combine planning, people and quality on the building site.
What you'll do
- You translate lean planning into concrete, daily actions on site.
- You manage subcontractors and tradespeople in a clear and direct way.
- You monitor progress, safety, quality and site logistics.
- You coordinate work in concrete, traditional masonry and HSB (timber frame construction).
- You work closely with the project manager and preparation staff.
- You make decisions on time, keep communication short and clear, and actively look for solutions.
What we ask
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a site manager in residential construction.
- Experience in new-build construction. Knowledge of HSB is a plus.
- Strong planning and organising skills.
- A quality-focused approach, attention to detail and a focus on safety.
- Able to work independently, work in a team and support the lean method.
- Living in the Netherlands and having the right to work in the Netherlands. The client (opdrachtgever) does not provide a visa, residence permit or sponsorship.
