Metal Worker / Welder

About the job

You make parts for machines. You work with metal: steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. You use metal-working tools and weld parts together. You work mainly in the workshop in Heemskerk, but sometimes also at customer sites.

What you'll do

• Read and analyse technical drawings at the start of the working day
• Cut, bend, and weld metal
• Work independently, with support from colleagues when needed
• Check the quality of your own work at the end of the day
• Keep your workstation clean and tidy

What we ask

• A metalworking diploma at MBO level 2 or 3
• A MIG/MAG or TIG welding certificate at level 2
• VCA Basisveiligheid (basic safety certificate) or VCA VOL, or willingness to obtain one
• Additional certificates are a plus
• Category B driving licence and your own car
• Reliable, well-presented, a good communicator, flexible, and willing to learn
