Orbital TIG Welder Stainless Steel Cleanroom

About the job

As an orbital TIG welder for stainless steel in a cleanroom, you work on high-quality gas systems and pipelines for the high-tech industry in Nijmegen. You turn technical drawings into reliable welds in a controlled environment where precision and responsibility matter every day.

What you'll do

• Weld thin-walled stainless steel pipes with a diameter of 5-20 mm using an orbital welding system
• Carefully prepare, clamp, align and purge components before welding
• Inspect materials and welds according to current quality standards
• Plan your own work, take initiative when you spot deviations and choose well-considered solutions
• Work in a two-shift rotation: 06:00-14:30 or 14:30-23:00

What we ask

• MBO level 3 or 4 (Dutch vocational education), or equivalent, preferably in TIG welding of stainless steel
• 1-5 years of experience in orbital welding and working with thin-walled materials of 0.5-2.0 mm thickness
• Experience reading technical drawings, doing precise mechanical work and following cleanroom procedures
• Accurate, quality-focused way of working, with initiative and persistence
• Dutch or English at minimum B1 level
• Living in the Netherlands and legally allowed to work in the Netherlands

What we offer

• Gross base salary €2,900 to €3,300 per month
• 17% shift allowance on top of base salary
• 26 holiday days and 13 ADV days (ADV: extra days off from the Dutch reduced working hours scheme)
• Option to have ADV days paid out instead
• Employment conditions under the Metalektro and Metaal & Techniek CAO (CAO: collective labour agreement setting minimum pay and conditions)
