Experienced MIG/MAG TIG Welder

About the job

The client in Venlo produces precision parts for the semiconductor, medical and high-tech industries. For over 40 years they have made complex sheet metal components, precise welded assemblies and complete systems. You will work on demanding, precision welding in a modern setting and have room to keep developing your skills.

What you'll do

• Welding with MIG/MAG and TIG on thin sheet metal, mainly stainless steel 1-3 mm thick
• Assembling parts and modules using technical drawings, with close attention to fit
• Checking weld quality and making sure the finish meets high quality standards
• Carrying out first-level maintenance on welding equipment and keeping your workstation tidy and safe
• Taking part in improving processes, working methods and product quality

What we ask

• MBO-level (Dutch secondary vocational education) training and work experience
• Experience welding MIG/MAG and/or TIG on thin sheet metal
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and work instructions on your own
• A hands-on attitude, solution-focused thinking and a sense of responsibility for your own work
• A motivation to learn new techniques and keep growing professionally

What we offer

• Salary from €3,000 to €4,000 gross per month, depending on experience
• Permanent contract from day one
• Working week of 32 to 40 hours
