All-round vehicle and construction machinery mechanic

About the job

You work on the maintenance and repair of construction machinery from well-known brands like Giant, Messersi and Mikasa. You work in a well-kept workshop in Nieuwegein. The team is small and the atmosphere is good. You learn from experienced colleagues and gradually grow into a mechanic who can work independently.

What you'll do

• Maintenance: learn to repair, service and test construction machinery for different customers.
• Diagnosing: find and fix technical problems so machines work properly.
• Preparing for delivery: get new machines ready for handover and check delivery documents and equipment options.
• Teamwork: work in a small team of experienced mechanics who guide and support you.
• Development: step by step learn to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.

What we ask

• Category B driving licence and an interest in technology and construction machinery.
• Available 32 to 40 hours a week, based in Montfoort.
• Willing to learn, open to feedback and careful about the quality of your work.
• Ready to build technical skills on the job.
• Attention to safety and accuracy in everything you do.

What we offer

• Salary from €2,500 to €3,500 per 4 weeks.
• Temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment.
• 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Employer may cover the cost of certificates and training.
• Possibility of a company car.
