High Tech Technician / Module Assembly and Testing

About the job

As a technician in Veldhoven, you work with advanced technology in a modern high-tech production environment. You assemble and test complex modules, work with mechanical, electrical and mechatronic components, and solve technical problems together with experienced technicians and engineers. You don't need to know everything on day one. What matters most is a technical background, a hands-on attitude and a willingness to learn.

What you'll do

• Assemble mechanical, electrical and mechatronic components
• Build complex modules based on technical drawings and work instructions
• Install, set up and precisely adjust components
• Carry out measurements, tests and quality checks
• Identify and analyse technical deviations
• Solve technical problems on your own or as part of a team
• Record test results, actions and deviations in digital systems
• Work according to strict procedures for quality, safety and cleanroom (a controlled environment where dust and contamination are kept to a minimum)
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge and practical skills

• A completed technical education or relevant work experience in a technical field
• Interest in precision engineering, mechanics and complex technical systems
• A hands-on and precise way of working
• Good analytical skills and the ability to solve problems
• Ability to follow established procedures
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
• Ability to read and understand technical work instructions in English

What we offer

• Starting salary of €3,276.88 gross per month based on full-time hours
• Shift allowance of 25.1% on top of gross salary
• Annual bonus of 8.33% (13th month payment)
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a standard Dutch payment) of 8%
• ADV allowance of 0.65% (ADV is a Dutch CAO-based scheme that reduces working hours or provides extra compensation)
• Allowance for extra leave days of 0.87%
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.21 net per kilometre
• Two-shift work schedule
