Allround maintenance mechanic

About the job

We are looking for an allround maintenance mechanic to work in Hallum. Your job is to keep machines, packaging lines and installations running in a production facility. When something breaks down, you respond fast and fix it with as little downtime as possible. You work 36 hours a week in a 5-shift rotation.

What you'll do

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and modifications on machines and installations
• Diagnose and fix faults, quickly and properly
• Work on mechanical, pneumatic and electrotechnical installations
• Actively suggest technical improvements and help keep the production process reliable
• Work independently and together with colleagues in the technical department

What we ask

• MBO level 3-4 technical education, preferably in mechanical engineering or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar technical role
• Knowledge of electrotechnics, electronics, PLC technology and measurement and control systems
• Ability to analyse and solve faults quickly
• NEN 3140 VOP and VP certificates (Dutch certification for working safely on electrical installations)
• Proactive attitude, good communication and ability to work well in a team
• Category B driving licence and own transport (preferred)

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary from €2,756 to €4,177 (excluding shift allowance), depending on age and experience
• Shift allowance paid separately
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.25 per kilometre
