Allround Maintenance Technician

About the job

The client is a toast factory in Hallum with a team of 10 people. As an allround maintenance technician, you make sure the machines, packaging lines and installations keep running. When something breaks down, you respond straight away, find the cause and fix it. You also suggest technical improvements when you see them.

What you'll do

• You carry out maintenance, repairs and modifications on machines and installations
• You diagnose faults and fix them quickly and properly
• You work on mechanical, pneumatic and electrotechnical installations
• You actively suggest technical improvements and help keep the production process reliable
• You work on your own and together with colleagues in the technical department

What we ask

• MBO level 3 or 4 (Dutch vocational qualification), preferably in mechanical engineering or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar technical role
• Experience with electrical engineering, electronics, PLC technology and measurement and control systems
• NEN 3140 VOP and VP certificates (Dutch safety certificates for working with or near electrical installations)
• A proactive attitude, good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• A category B driving licence and your own transport are a plus

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary between €2,756 and €4,177, depending on age and experience
• Travel costs reimbursed at €0.23 per kilometre
• Weekly pay, transferred to your account every Friday
