A Production Team Leader is a key part of how production runs. You are present on the shop floor, you know what is going on, and you make sure everyone knows what to do. You work at a company in Oosterhout that specialises in processing, trading and delivering high-quality steel plates. The company serves sectors such as construction, shipbuilding and mechanical engineering.
What you'll do
- Lead, supervise and motivate workers on the production floor every day
- Take an active part in daily production work
- Assign and coordinate tasks within the team
- Monitor the production schedule, work progress and quality
- Keep the workplace safe, tidy and organised
- Spot and solve problems during the production process
- Help improve work processes and efficiency
- Work with other departments to keep production running smoothly
What we ask
- Experience in a production environment, preferably in metalworking or steel processing
- Technical knowledge and understanding of machines and production processes
- Experience leading or supervising people, or a clear wish to take that next step in your career
- Good organisation, the ability to set priorities and keep things in order
- Clear communication and the ability to motivate people
- Attention to quality, safety and efficiency
- Willingness to work directly on the production floor
