About the job
As a production operator, you work with your colleagues to process different types of cardboard sheets into finished products. In the Processing department, you operate machines for creasing, cutting, die-cutting, printing, gluing and labelling. Together with your team, you decide which machine handles each order based on what the customer needs. You work in shifts in a team of around 23 people per shift. The client will train you as quickly as possible to become an all-round machine operator, so you can run several machines on your own.
What you'll do
- Operate a processing machine together with 1 or 2 colleagues
- Monitor, set up and optimise the machine
- Carry out quality checks on the products
- Operate a processing machine independently after your onboarding
- Build your skills and work towards running at least two machines on your own
- Work in a production environment using your experience with production machinery
What we ask
- You are eager to work and can quickly act independently at a production machine
- You are interested in the technical side of production and want to grow as an operator
- An interest in corrugated cardboard products is a plus
